A few words about me: I started learning Latin in high school, but I had to wait until my Junior year because my high school believed that no teenager could learn Latin. In my second year, I took the AP exam and passed. I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Classics (Latin and Greek) and then with an M. Ed. in Curriculum Studies in '92. King/Drew was the first school I taught at, and I started in English. I have taught all levels of English and Latin; I have also taught PE, Drama, Hospital Careers, Algebra 1, and Creative Writing. I have also sponsored the newspaper, the Step Team, the Poetry Club, the Latin Club, the Certamen Club and the Anime Club. I have also taken students overseas to Italy, France, Spain, and Greece.
