Biography: Welcome parents, guardians and students! My name is Christen Bell and I have been a teacher at King Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science for the past six years. Teaching has always been my passion and I am committed to giving back to the community that nurtured me. I enjoy working closely with our students to help them achieve their goals, grow, and learn the importance for self advocacy. I believe in empowering the next generation of leaders by showing them that no disability or stigma can prevent them from fulfilling their dreams.

Inspired by the lessons of empathy, justice, and moral courage from my favorite book, To Kill a Mockingbird, I strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment where all students can achieve their goals despite personal challenges. Outside of the classroom, I cherish spending quality time with my husband and our two daughters. I look forward to another successful year, filled with growth and achievement.
